Please pardon a lot of dust! Thank you for visiting our Web-based App 4.0, which has been in the process of being fully updated and refreshed, since… May of 2024.
The 2019-2020, Beta Site was retired in 2021. Versons 2.0-3.0 ran until the middle of 2024, before we made the decison to simply live-overhaul… Everything! It has taken so much longer than anticipated, as just about everything has changed, over the past 12+ months…
We recently cleaned out the back-end, removing over 60K old RSS feeds and 2K spam accounts. All inactive accounts will be deleted in August 2025, as we are bringing you an all-new Membership experience within 3 “AppFlicker Groups” focused around Gaming, Videos and Music. If we accidently delete yours, we are sorry! Please simply create a new one. Any approved content, that was written by you, under your prior account, will remain. Please alert us and we’ll attribute it, to your new profile name.
Added to the overhaul, we are changing CineTaste to CineBugle to deliver you the best curation of “News, Gossip, Trailers & Popular” stories about Streaming Entertainment. We will soon move “Best Of” in place of “Compare” – but not to worry, there, you will soon find an all-new “Compare” experience as well as a fully revised, user-created “Polls” and a fully functional Icy Or Spicy swipe game with real-time Scorcher results
Next up, CineJoule‘s “Best Of” tab will be replaced with “Journals” – an all-new Blog experience to complement “Reviews” and “Forums” which have also been fully revised with new sorting and rating systems. As if that were not enough, an all-new CineClique tab is coming soon, it will contain Flicks, Chat & Shop.
CliqueFlicks will provide you with a platform to create quick video Flares, longer-form Features and an integrated home for you to promote your existing TikTok, YouTube & Meta videos Forwards, with our audience. Our lite QuokkaChat messenger, will offer users of AppFlicks and our other social engagement platforms, the opportunity to connect, while enjoying our playful QuokkaMate characters. Finally, our Flick2Shop eCommerce platform, will offer our Flickers the chance to Buy and Sell unique items in our custom store, without any user fees.
Last but not the least, as there will be more to come, we will soon launch our Learnami, next generation LMS platform, where teachers, trainers & learners can exchange iPlenaria masterclass progams. A portal to share ideas, tools, tips & tricks, best practices with community members. Just like the Flick2Shop store, there will be zero, platform-associated, costs.
Our plans are to continue to roll-out the new features, shared above, to the LIVE site, throughout the Summer & Fall of 2025. Please excuse a few more hiccups, along the way, as we gear-up for an official, full-featured launch, by 2026!

In the coming months, we will be adding more features to our CineBugle (formerly CineTaste) – Buzz, Popular & Best Of (formerly Compare), CineJoule – Forums, Reviews & all-new Blogs (formerly Best Of, soon moving to CineBugle) including the debut of our CineClique (formerly CineGarde) which will house our CliqueFlicks video platform that invites you to create and share your entertainment Flicks with other auteur media lovers around the globe, the QuokkaChat messenger filled with lovable QuokkaMate characters & the exclusive Flick2Shop store (formerly CineYardSale). Added to the mix, our flexible Learnami masterclass NexGen LMS will offer game, film & music-making best practices for everyone to up-scale, across the AppFlicks community.

At launch, AppFlicks is a pure labor of love, created to share the joys of all-things, streaming entertainment. While self-funded, to date, by its creator, that is not sustainable in the long-term. Hopefully, AppFlicks will remain ad-free, becoming a fully, user-supported platform, where we may earn an affiliate commission when you subscribe to a streaming service or purchase a product through a sponsored link.
We have been fully focused on ideating, developing and launching AppFlicks, first. In the coming months, we aim to foster relationships with those who will benefit from AppFlicks, to create a model which will enable us to thrive.
