Review:

If you like puzzle games the likes of Candy Crush and BeJeweled, there is a high possibility that you will love this game too! After all, the things you burst in this game are a lot more adorable and that said, I will say that I haven’t seen any guys playing this game so far.

The concept of the game is simple – you link a minimum of 3 same Tsum Tsums (or more) and pop them in one connection. The longer the connection, the higher your score. Each game lasts for 60 seconds but there are time bubbles or fever times which extend your game play by 5 seconds each time. There are a number of different things to collect in this game – coins, Tsums, premium tickets and skill tickets, all which go towards helping you to advance your game.

In the game, you use coins or premium tickets to buy new Tsums which have different skills. That said, after collecting over 20 Tsums (using coins earned), you start to realize quickly that many of them have the same ‘centre-bursting’ skills. Once in a while, you get something different like the Alien Tsum or Jack Sparrow Tsum and it keeps it fresh. In addition, new Tsums are released at least once a month.

Bonus cards appear every so often to challenge you to use different Tsums to complete different missions. These missions usually have varying degrees of difficulty and as long as you have a really good Tsum (Rapunzel is my go-to Tsum), you should be able to breeze through most of these challenges. It is fun to play these bonus cards because unlike Candy Crush, these bonus cards challenge you to play differently. Getting a high score vs getting a link of 9+ Tsum vs getting a certain number of coins – you get the idea. The key is, you should think about which Tsums can help you to accomplish the missions more easily. If you find yourself stuck in a mission, consider using your Skill tickets too! These skill tickets are given to you as bonuses when you play or complete bonus cards and they can be really useful. The 5 -> 4 Tsum skill ticket is my favorite. If you want to learn how to ace certain missions, you may also want to head over to Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki | Fandom, which is a whole site dedicated to this game.

Sometimes, the simpler the game, the more addictive it is, and this game achieves just that. In addition, the introduction of new Tsums and bonus challenges really changes things up and keeps you playing (unlike Candy Crush when you get frustrated and have no way to advance levels). The refresh time of the ‘lives’ in this game is also much quicker than Candy Crush – 15 mins for a new heart vs 25/30mins for a new life in Candy Crush.

Have you played Disney Tsum Tsum before? What did you think about the game, its overall production, game-play, difficulty, plot, casting, soundtrack and cinematography?

Play is different depending on the character you choose. And characters are so cute that makes it more entertaining.😄 As you level up you unlock new characters that make this game so addicting. 🤣 I played it way back 2015. I guess it’s a lot better now. #tsumtsum
