The story of Kanye West in three weeks. Kanye West has a documentary about his life in three parts on Netflix. The documentary is meant to be a compassionate look at the life of West, who may come across at times as troubled or infuriating.
Kanye West explains in the series how he was always told ‘no’, and had to fight for every ‘yes’, how he was hated in his own hometown, and how much he had to do, to get a shot at winning.
The documentary airs in three weekly installments beginning February 16 and has years of footage tracking the star from getting deals to a divorce. Kanye, who once said “slavery is a choice” tells all in this time capsule which may explain how his brilliance was created step by step.
West is relatable in this series proving doubters wrong and saying how inspirational endings are related to the things that he has most been motivated towards, his music and his explosiveness.
