The Mandalorian (The Child) Merch You’ve Been Waiting For…

Just in time for Christmas, cool Mando & Baby Yoda (Grogu) Merchandise from the hit new Disney+ Streaming Series is finally available!

Update: When I first wrote this JouleStream Forum in October 2019, there was not a single item of Grogu, The Child’s real name as revealed in Season 2, of merchandise to be found anyplace in this galaxy…

When “Yoda Baby” appeared on streaming channels for the first time, in October 2019, he became an instant smash… Just one problem, there was no merchandise to feed thousands of hungry fans due to Disney / Lucasfilm / Star Wars total embargo (including vendors), wanting to keep the famous Jedi Master’s younger clone, baby, species, vergence in The Force… a total secret from possible leaks. Just in time for Christmas 2020… Your Jedi (or Sith) holiday wishes came true!

Amazon, at the time, was  the only, “This Is The Way” to perfect stocking stuffers, that all Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans have been waiting for… Since that time, Disney-Lucasfilm has more than capitalized on the blockbuster runaway streaming hit’s success in terms of apparel, lunch boxes, action figures, lego, plus toys…anything under the twin suns of Tatooine.

The Mandalorian, Season 1’s final streamed a week after Star Wars, Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker hit theaters on December 20, 2019. Skywalker landed right in-between Chapters 7 and 8. The Disney+ series skipped a week to allow fans every opportunity to see both in real-time and The Child’s Force Healing ability was shown, to provide context to both Rey and Kylo Ren’s knowledge to do the same in the film.

As mentioned in a prior forums, the Star Wars fan in me, has already begun my marathon of watching Episodes I-VIII+ (though I had to turn to Netflix for SOLO: A Star Wars Story and The Last Jedi due to prior licensing agreements, at that time) in advance of the The Rise of Skywalker premier on December 18, 2019. More on The Mandalorian S1-2, my Star Wars marathon and my review of Skywalker in the days, weeks, months and years to come. “I have spoken.”

Since writing and revising the above, Star Wars fans have had the chance to watch 2 seasons, 16 Chapters of The Mandalorian, thus far, on the Disney+ streaming service. We also know that Mando’s interconnected story universe is expanding with three new series in 2021, 2022 and beyond. To date, we know of The Book of Boba Fett, Rangers of The New Republic and Ahsoka have been announced. Other announced Disney+ Star Wars shows will include, Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch, Visions, Lando, The Acolyte and A Droid Story.

I look forward to your JoulePepper rating of my JouleView about “The Mandalorian (The Child) Merch You’ve Been Waiting For….” and I’d love to read your comments in the JouleStream section, below. Let’s make it a discussion! Based on what I shared above, I give The Mandalorian Season 1 a 4 out of 5 JoulePeppers – it’s Hot!
