Full Review: Coming Soon!

Have you watched / listened to Motley Crue: The Dirt film / soundtrack before? What did you think about this film / album, its adaptation to the book, its production, band performance, casting, the song writing, selection and overall sound?

Motley Crue was my de-facto favorite bad-boy, “Metal” band in the 1980s-2000s. As I still long for those glory days, perhaps, I had too high of expectations, going in… and as a result of this, I found both The Dirt film and soundtrack a bit disappointing? The soundtrack, because, I was hoping for Crue to reunite to offer the very best of the best, old and new. In terms of the film, while I get why it was done, I’d have preferred it not be so comedic in tone, instead, focus on these actual, real-life events, from a more serious, more gritty, more authentic… adaptation of the book of the same name.
